The property is a modern 3-bedroom terraced house with a garden and 2 allocated parking spaces within a residents parking area. It is a small estate in a semi rural setting located just outside Wellington town.
Downstairs there is a toilet off the hallway, a kitchen/dining room with patio doors which leads to the garden. There is also a good-sized living room.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms- 2 doubles one with an en suite which is the carers room and 1 single. One double room and one single room are available to SLSW individuals. The bathroom has a bath and would solely be used by the individuals.
The carer has 3 elderly dogs – 1 small Patterdale & 2 rescue Grey Hounds.
There is a one-stop shop a 5-minute walk. The nearest bus stop is a 15-minute walk. The main town is about a 20/25 minute walk where there are plenty of amenities.
This carer is experienced in providing supporting to adults with autism and/or learning disabilities with varying support needs. The carer also has experience of working with older adults with dementia and those with Aquired Brain Injuries. She works at a local day service 5 days a week where she has gained a wealth of experience providing support on a 1-1 basis but also in a group.
The carer is looking to offer respite 1 weekend a month but there may be some flexibility depending on the referral.
