We are Jill and Debbie. We live with Jill’s children Matthew and Rachel
We live in a large comfortable house in Ide. Our house is next to a non-working farm and backs onto fields. The house is split level with the top floor having a large kitchen and lounge along with our bedroom and one Shared Lives guest’s bedroom. There is a bathroom and a separate toilet on this level too.
Downstairs there is an open area from which there are two bedrooms for our children, a single room which is available for a Shared Lives guest, shower/toilet bathroom and utility and study rooms. The back garden can be accessed from this level.
There are steps up to the front door and down to the garden and stairs down to the lower level
Apart from us and our children, we have two dogs (a Dalmatian and a Westie) and three cats
We have six grown up children between us who are often visiting and joining in with family activities. Debbie works as a manager with young people from many different backgrounds in supported living; Jill is an artist, who would love to support someone with ceramics and painting, and who also works as a part-time chef. Both of us are keen on running and cycling and we walk our Dalmatian and Westie every day
