What we like to do

Tracey and Ken are settled in Redruth and enjoy family life very much and feel that their life experiences and working together as a team, as they have since they got together in 2002 will stand them in good stead for supporting someone to live with them and join their family unit.  Tracey says that her aim for the future is for her and Ken to be fulfilled as a couple, and one way they could achieve this would be to do what they can to nurture someone to make a difference in that person’s life – they would like to share the comfort and security they have with someone who needs it, and in doing so give themselves new horizons

Our experience as carers

Tracey and Ken have both worked in the care industry for over twenty years with Tracey dating her interest in working with vulnerable people back to her late teens. They both talk enthusiastically about the people that they have worked with (always maintaining confidentiality) and how their motivation has always been to make a difference to people’s lives.

Who we can support

Anyone is welcome in their home but due to stairs wheelchairs aren’t a possibility as the house isn’t accessible. Tracey and Ken have experience of supporting people with autism, learning disability, dementia and mental health.

Local area and community

Redruth has a variety of clubs and activities, including some especially for people with a disability. It is a town with good bus and train links and plenty of shops and clubs/pubs.
