Active seaside short break or respite in Shared Lives

About us

My name is Trish and I live with my friendly Patterdale Poodle Bubbles and Boxer puppy Lila. I love sharing my house and life with different people from all walks of life and you will be very welcome with us.

About our house

My house is a lovely old Ilfracombe terraced house on a hill. There are steps down to the front door and four storeys inside the house. The two bedrooms are up on the fourth floor with a large bathroom on the third floor. The kitchen and lounge are on the same floor as the front entrance and downstairs again are rooms which lead out to the steep garden. There are superb views of Ilfracombe from nearly all the windows!

Who else lives here?

Just me and Bubbles and Lila.

What we like to do

We love going for walks or cycling along the Tarka Trail which starts just near the house; days out to Exmoor; picnics on the beaches around Ilfracombe or just staying home listening to music or doing artwork, going out to the Landmark Theatre or to the cinema, going out for meals and meeting friends and family.

Our experience as carers

I have many years experience of working with people with learning disabilities, autism and sensory disabilities in fostering, in crisis centres, in community development and with VSO.

I am a flexible professional carer and I will be attentive to the support you need during your stay with me and Bubbles and Lila.
