We assist with paying for your support
We’ll help you navigate the finances for your care, ensuring everything is in order, and you may contribute if needed.
Your support can be paid for in different ways. You might pay for it yourself, or it could be funded through direct payments from Adult Social Care, your local authority, or the NHS.
Long-term support is charged based on the level of care, skill, and expertise provided by your Carer. If the local authority is funding your support, they may carry out a Fairer Charging assessment to see if you need to contribute towards the cost of your care. You’ll also be responsible for covering the rent and household costs. We also offer a Money Management support service to help you claim all the welfare benefits you’re entitled to, calculate any contributions you may need to make, and manage your payments. This service is available to everyone receiving long-term support.
The cost of short breaks depends on how long you stay and the level of support you need. Day support is charged by the hour, while overnight stays are charged for a full 24-hour period. The local authority may help cover the cost of your short break.
Either you, a member of your family, or someone supporting your from the local authority or NHS can make a referral to request support.
So that we can start looking for suitable Carers who can provide support, we need someone to complete and return a referral form at the bottom of this page.
