Transition

New Placement

Find out what it’s like to be a Shared Lives South West (SLSW) Carer through the eyes of SLSW Carer Helga Crosland. She has recently welcomed Connor to her home after some short breaks and she’s supported him to get a job, got him involved in helping with the farm animals and is more outgoing.

Long Term Service

Find out what it’s like to be a Shared Lives South West (SLSW) Carer through the eyes of SLSW Carer Theresa Smith-Rodney. Theresa, who has a disability herself, supports Michael in her own home and he is living his life, his way with her support. Her husband Gussie is also a support carer.

Since moving in with Shared Lives South West Carer Mae, Mollie has been thriving. In three months she has been on holiday, passed her driving test and is doing so well.

Dementia
