The carer is keen to work with ambulant individuals seeking to develop their independence and to get involved in the local community. The carer and her husband enjoy entertaining their blended family on a regular basis. A busy home with visiting grandchildren and friends popping in for coffee. They also enjoy motorbike racing and being out and about in their motor home. People staying in this house have attended racing meets and travelled the country in the motor home.
The carer support one long term placement and offers emergency cover for individual working out their next steps. She is community minded and experienced in running annual fundraising events; she uses her creativity to inspire individuals to get involved – healthy eating, baking, collecting jumble for sale and arts & crafts.
The house is a big modern house on several floors. Entering through the front door in to a small hallway that leads to the guest toilet and open plan kitchen/lounge. At the end of the hallway a door leads to outside balcony area over looking the garden. There is limited access to the garden due to the steep stairs.
