Volunteering
Voluntary work can be highly rewarding, giving something back to the local community, whilst helping to drive the continued success of our charity.
Trustees are volunteers who make decisions on behalf of the charity. They may also be referred to as board members.
You will help enrich the lives of people we support by becoming a part of our friendly charity known for providing high-quality support to people as recognised by our ‘outstanding’ CQC recognition.
We are currently seeking additional trustees to join our board. To find out more, please click the image on the left to download our trustee applicant information pack.

We are looking for panel members in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset to help with this rewarding role.
Approval panel members support Shared Lives South West in the approval of applications of prospective Shared Lives Carers by contributing to the quality assurance process so that we recruit the right carers to fulfill our purpose and support more people.
