About us

A 3 bedroom semi detached house with off road parking. There is a stoned front garden with fish pond and path leading to the front door. There is also a garden at the rear of the house with side gate access. Downstairs there is a hallway with stairs to the right. To the left is a door leading into the lounge which has doors into the kitchen, dining and conservatory rooms. Upstairs there are two double rooms and a single room as well as a bathroom with bath over shower.

This carer is skilled with supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health. She was previously a foster carer and worked in the children’s and families sector prior to this. She has supported individuals both long term and for short breaks as a shared lives carer but is only currently looking to offer short breaks. 

This carer does not drive but will use public transport to support individuals to access the wider community. She enjoys her garden and is often pottering in the warmer months especially, which individuals are welcome to get involved with. This carer enjoys cooking and individuals are always welcome to get involved with cooking/baking whilst staying. 

This carer does have two rooms available for short breaks however does support individuals on their own and will only use both rooms on occasions if the individuals match well together. 

The carers preference is to support females and she prefers if individuals have a degree of independence with personal care.
