This is an very experienced mental health carer, she lives with her cat Henry in a cosy end of terrace quiet cul- de- sac. She shares a dog with her daughter; this means she can host short breaks/respite in a dog free environment. The house has an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner plus downstairs toilet. There is one spacious respite room upstairs and a shared bathroom with a shower over the bath.
This is an ideal place for someone wanting a quiet, relaxed break with 1:1 support. The carer is a regular church-goer and enjoys needlework, jigsaws and trips out to local markets and fetes. She is very involved in her local community and has an interest in history. She is a warm and compassionate carer who is happy to tailor any breaks to a person’s interests and needs.
The carer prefers to support females and her availability varies due to other commitments. She has a background supporting people with mental health needs as well as experience supporting people with autism, learning disability and sensory impairments.
