This vacancy would suit somebody looking for a supportive environment with plenty of laughter and fun! You will have hands on care and support where you need it, as well as support to develop or regain independence. You can relax at home or try new activities in a town where there is lots going on! About the Carer: Monika is a friendly, outgoing and welcoming Carer. She lives with her son (about 18 years old) and a man in his 30s. They look forward to welcoming you! Monika trained as a Nurse when she lived in Hungary (where she grew up) and has also worked in various Care Homes. She has been a Shared Lives Carer for over 10 years! She has supported lots of people of different ages and with different needs, including people with learning disabilities, Autism, Dementia and more. About the house and area: Monika lives in Honiton town – a lively market town with a large choice of shops, cafes, pubs, a museum and gallery, day activities and plenty of other facilities on offer. There are very good public transport links. There is a gravel driveway with steps up to the property. There is a paved balcony area. There is a small lounge/dining area downstairs and a kitchen and downstairs toilet. The family bathroom is upstairs, with a walk in shower and a bath. The bedrooms are upstairs and are currently very basic and ready to be decorated to suit you. The carer has cats and kittens.
