My name is Kerry and I am available to support people for short breaks through social care or respite in Shared Lives.
I am an experienced carer working with adults with autism, learning disabilities or mental health issues.
My house is a semi-detached four bedroom house in a cul-de-sac with other similar houses in a lovely rural village about 20 minutes from Exeter and Exmouth. Woodbury is on a regular bus route and has a Londis/Post Office on the main road. There are two pubs, a Chinese takeaway, hairdressers and bric-a-brac shop. The neighbours are very friendly and the community is very supportive.
When you come to stay, your room is downstairs next to the lounge and kitchen. The family bathroom is upstairs. You will meet my daughter and a man who lives here in Shared Lives. We also have dogs and cats. You are welcome to join in with our family activities and I will support you with any activities you would especially like to do during your stay.
