The carer is a single lady with many years experience of supporting people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, older adults with care needs and also dementia.
She lives in the Redruth area in a large detached house. It is only a 10-minute walk into the town centre which has all local amenities including bus and rail links, shops, GP, post office, supermarket etc. She has 2 small dogs.
The carer can support up to 2 people in long term placements. The rooms are both upstairs. They are both large and spacious with access to a shared bathroom as well as another room which can be used as a second lounge if they don’t want to use the downstairs lounge.
Downstairs there is a large kitchen and cosy lounge / dining room.
The carer has a lodger who lives in her own self contained accommodation in the garden.
The carer enjoys going for walks with her dogs, gardening, cooking, shopping, self care, going to gym.
