The property is a 3-bedroom, semi-detached house in a residential estate. There is one shallow step leading to the front door.
The front door opens into a small hallway with stairs leading to the bedrooms and bathroom. There are doors in the hallway leading to the downstairs toilet and the living room.
The living room is a good size with a door leading through to the kitchen/diner.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The bedrooms are all good sizes.
The back garden is secure and can be accessed via the kitchen/diner; it also has external access via a gate.
Quiet residential estate in Sherborne. Walking distance to town which offers a variety of shops, cafes, public houses and local markets. Small convenience store close to house and a doctors surgery and dentist available locally.
There are facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, and exercise classes nearby. It is a short drive to the neighbouring town of Yeovil where there is a cinema and bowling complex.
Sherborne is a welcoming and accommodating community. There is a day service for adults with learning disabilities locally. There is a lunch club in town which I think runs every day, there is also a youth club and there are also community run exercise classes.
The household is quiet, with just the carer, her small dog and one other individual supported through SLSW in the property.
This vacancy would suit an individual who is looking to progress their independence skills and can be left at home independently for periods.
