The carer has a wealth of experience in care and educational settings. Starting after leaving school working in a Psychiatric Hospital for 8 years, working as a Family Liaison Officer, a higher level teaching assistant supporting children with additional needs, supporting adults in a respite centre and currently working part-time as a (HLSP) Higher Level Learning Support Practitioner in Foundation Learning at a college.
The house is a semi-detached property in a quiet cul-de-sac on a small housing estate in St Austell. It is a 5 minutes’ walk to the local Tesco supermarket, accessed via a foot path reached from the back garden. The house is a spacious three-bedroom property in good general order. It is clean, tidy, light and modern.
The carer has 2 tortoises and sometimes looks after her grown up children’s dogs.
