About us

We have been foster carers for young people for over 15 years and have worked with children/young adults from ages 6 – 21 years. Supporting young people with additional support needs, autism, neuro diverse, emotional, and medical needs. Before that I was a primary school teacher, and Arron was a school caretaker and joiner.

We enjoy television and cinema. I like reading and puzzles. Arron enjoys making Lego models and DIY – his very handy with building work as well. Arron loves to cook and try new dishes. He also enjoys walking and I like to swim. We enjoy going to restaurants and the odd trip to the pub. We are also looking into our local bowling club.
Happy to try out new interests that others may have.

We live in a 5 bedroom semi-detached house. We have a kitchen diner, living room, utility and toilet downstairs. Upstairs are the bedrooms and a shower room. We have a small front and back garden.

We live 2 miles from the centre of Exmouth Town. There are a range of shops within walking distance including Tesco, Lidl’s, The Range and Home Bargains. There is also a MacDonalds 10 minutes away. In town there are many more shops, restaurants, and cafes. We also have a leisure centre which has a swimming pool, gym courts and fitness classes. There is a tennis centre and other local gyms. there is a community club that runs in town called the Hive. The beach is 2 miles from us where they offer a variety of water-based activities.
