This is a new carer who has a wealth of experience working as Formal Support Carer for SLSW for some time, she has now decided to take on the role of Main carer from her own home which is in a quiet village around 5 miles from the lovely town of Bideford in North Devon.
The carers home has 2 vacancies and the carer is hoping to support one person long term and has a second spare room to provide short breaks. The rooms are upstairs, with the property having a open plan layout and downstairs bathrooms.
The carer lives with her partner, 2 medium sized friendly dogs, a friendly cat and outside there are chickens and a horse.
The carer would like to support a person who would like to be active in the community and to learn independent living skills.
The property is within travel distance to PETROC college and the carer is happy to support someone to attend college, work in the local towns or access day services locally.
