About us

The carers home is in the centre of Cannington. The property is a semi-detached 3-bedroom house.

Downstairs there is a W/C just inside the front door, living room, hallway, and a large kitchen/diner which leads onto the back garden. The garden has a low-level patio area, and then some steps up to a grassed area with a shed.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is the carers room which has an ensuite. There is 1 double room which is currently occupied for an individual supported through Shared Lives, and 1 small double room which will be vacant to use for future placements.

There is a large bathroom which has a separate bath and a walk-in shower. The bathroom will be solely for use for individuals in placement due to the carer having her own bathroom.

There is a bus stop which stops directly outside of the property and good links to other areas and easy access to public transport for the surrounding areas.

There are local church groups in Cannington and various community activities that are held.

The carer currently has 4 dogs, 3 larger breed, and 1 small breed. The carer would like individuals to be dog lovers as her dogs are a big part of her life.
