The property is a new detached 4 to 5 bed home in new Cannington estate near Hinkley Point. The front garden is laid to grass with a slab pathway to the front door. There is a small step up into the house. There is a large laid to lawn garden with patio at the back of the house and side access from the street. The house has two bathrooms, a downstairs toilet, Kitchen dining room and a potential downstairs small double bedroom. Four bedrooms upstairs – the bedroom for SLSW has a king size bed, desk and mirror in it; there is plenty of space for a wardrobe. The estate has a village feel, the town of Bridgwater is 10 minutes’ drive away. 

The carers have 3 young children so matches require careful consideration and individuals who are comfortable with children and have a degree of independence. 

The carers are two caring and nurturing people who through the experience of seeing Shared Lives lived by a relative have birthed the desire to offer this type of support themselves. They have recently been approved and are looking to offer short breaks but if the match is right they may consider a long term placement.
