This carer based in Yeovil and lives with her partner and their small dog. They are a young and vibrant couple who offer a warm, friendly, and welcoming home environment.
The carer currently works full-time within a supported living setting and has recently been approved to provide short breaks, primarily at weekends, although she can be flexible where placements can fit around her working pattern.
Together, the couple enjoy an active and homely lifestyle. They regularly spend time outdoors, including walks at National Trust locations with their dog, as well as enjoying cooking and baking at home. Her partner also enjoys gaming.
The carer is keen to support individuals to develop their independence, encouraging involvement in daily routines and building confidence in everyday skills. While currently offering short breaks, there is potential for a longer-term arrangement if the match is right.
This placement would suit an individual who is comfortable around dogs and would enjoy a mix of outdoor activities and spending time at home. The carer can offer a supportive, engaging environment, with opportunities to take part in everyday routines and activities.
