The carer lives in a very quiet location just outside the village of St Buryan. The house is down a farm track and looks out across farmland to the sea. The local village has a shop, pub, church and a bus service into Penzance which is the closest town.
The carer lives with her husband and teenage son. The family have 2 pet dogs.
The carer can support up to 3 people and currently has two people placed with her. One is an older lady who has been with her for several years and a gentleman in his 50’s.
The carer is a very experienced carer and has supported people with learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, dementia.
The carer enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with the wider family who live close by, walks with the dogs and travelling. She is keen to support people to develop their independence through learning new skills and achieving their potential.
