Chloe Banks web - Chloe joins the Somerset team as a Shared Lives Coordinator

Chloe Banks has joined our Somerset team as a Shared Lives Coordinator.
We had a quick chat with her to find out a bit more about her, how she is settling in, and what she thinks about Shared Lives.

Can you tell us a little bit about your background?
I have worked within the social care industry for many years and have worked with individuals with Learning disabilities, mental health, and elderly/end-of-life. I have a real passion to make a difference and I am always up for a new challenge!

What made you apply for the role?
My maternity leave was coming to an end and I happened to come across the advert for the role of Shared Lives Coordinator. It seemed too good to be true to find a part-time role to work around nursery for my little girl, whilst also doing a role I felt would fit my skills perfectly.

How are you finding it so far?
I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to work with Shared Lives South West and have been so welcomed to the team. Everyone has been so helpful, and I am really enjoying the role. I love the varied days and meeting new people along the way.

What do you enjoy outside of work?
In my spare time, I enjoy going on holidays/ short breaks and spending time with my little girl and my dog.

What are you looking forward to the most at Shared Lives?
I’m looking forward to celebrating successes with the team and making a real difference to individuals’ lives.
